Adult Prevention:
In September 2024, SHARE Foundation was awarded a new federal grant from SAMHSA’s SPF-PFS Communities Grant to expand prevention services to target underserved adults in Union County. 41 grants were awarded in the United States, and SHARE received the only award in Arkansas. For our project, four new grant personnel were hired to focus prevention services on the Strategic Prevention Framework model to address the Social Determinant of Health, social and community context, with a priority focus on prevention services to reduce the onset of substance use disorder and related issues.
