Join us for a FREE one-day training and connection event designed to help pastors, ministry leaders, lay leaders, and community partners better understand mental health, reduce stigma, and respond with compassion.
Presented by:
The Called to Care: Mental Health & the Church Summit will equip pastors, ministry leaders, lay leaders, caregivers, and community partners with practical tools to recognize mental health needs, reduce stigma, respond with compassion, and connect individuals and families to appropriate support and resources.
Sessions will focus on practical tools, referral resources, suicide prevention, trauma, addiction, grief, youth mental health, and ways churches can create supportive environments for individuals and families.
What should church leaders know?
Mental health basics, warning signs, stigma, trauma, addiction, grief, suicide prevention, and referral pathways.
What should they be able to do afterward?
Respond with compassion, know when to refer, support families, and build healthier church cultures.
What should they not be expected to do?
Become therapists. The church can support, but it should not accidentally become an unlicensed counseling clinic because humans love overextending themselves in the name of “helping.”
