SHARE Foundation Artwork
SHARE Foundation continues to share its artwork with the community.
In 2024, SHARE Foundation relocated two major artwork collections to new locations for better public access and viewing.
- The outdoor animal sculptures that surrounded the old Warner Brown Hospital’s entrance finally found their new home. This collection consists of 5 glazed stoneware sculptures – terra cotta relief – created by Betty Davenport Ford. Four are now located at the South Arkansas Arts Center and one at the South Arkansas Historical Preservation Society. Each piece measures 36” by 36” by 8” thick. Needless to say, these are quite heavy. We appreciate the support of these partners for displaying some of our older and treasured pieces of art.
- One of El Dorado’s historical artwork pieces is the monumental 8’ by 30’ mural of the “Wonderful People of Arkansas,” originally from the old Warner Brown Hospital Lobby. Not many know, but this large piece is part of the SHARE Foundation's artwork collection. For many years, it has been proudly displayed at the South Arkansas Historical Preservation Society. Its new home is now located at the SARH’s Robert C. Tommey Conference Center in the large conference room.
