At eXtreme Prevention, we believe lasting change begins with education, connection, and empowerment. Our purpose is to prevent substance misuse, promote mental wellness, and strengthen community resilience across Union County, Arkansas. Through innovative youth programming, community collaboration, and peer recovery support, we help individuals and families build healthier, brighter futures.
Who We Are
eXtreme Prevention is an initiative of the SHARE Foundation, working in partnership with schools, coalitions, other nonprofits, state and local agencies, and many others to create a safe, supportive environment where people can thrive. Our team brings together prevention specialists, youth leaders, and recovery advocates who share a common goal: reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors that keep our communities strong.
Our Focus Areas of Prevention: Youth and Adults
Our prevention efforts center around two key focus areas that work side-by-side to serve youth and adults in our community. Together, they provide awareness, education, connection, and support for lasting wellness and recovery.

Empowering the next generation to make healthy choices and lead by example with drug-free lifestyles. Through school partnerships, youth summits, service projects, and leadership development, eXtreme Youth Programs give students the tools and confidence to influence their peers and create lasting change in their schools and communities.

Promoting wellness and recovery through prevention, support, and connection. Our initiatives help individuals overcome challenges, access treatment, and build strong recovery networks. Through peer support, community education, and partnerships, we reduce barriers and strengthen prevention and recovery resources across Union County.
