South Arkansas Regional Hospital (SARH) Auxiliary donated $5,000 to the SARH Foundation for their first campaign to purchase a new 3D Mammography machine for the hospital.

South Arkansas Regional Hospital (SARH) Foundation has announced its first campaign to raise $500,000 by the end of 2023 for a much needed 3D Mammography Machine (Mammo) for the new locally-owned nonprofit hospital, SARH in El Dorado.

Fall 2023 Scholarships Available from SHARE Foundation. Go to www.sharefoundation.com under the scholarships tab to view available scholarships, eligibility requirements, and the scholarship application portal.  Online applications must be submitted before July 1 for the upcoming fall semester.

If you are involved in any effort that proactively addresses crime and violence prevention and/or intervention in Union County, SHARE Foundation wants to work with you. Grant funding for the VIP is January – December and applications must be submitted by October 15, 2021, at 11:45 p.m.  Qualifying organizations with measurable evidence-based programs that broadly address crime and violence intervention and prevention are eligible to apply.

VISTA is a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency that engages millions of Americans in service through national service programs such as AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, and leading volunteer initiatives for the nation.

SHARE Foundation offers several scholarships for individuals pursuing health-related careers and one public education career. To be eligible for scholarship assistance applicants much have completed all pre-requisites and have a letter of acceptance into the specific program of study for health care or public education careers. Online applications must be submitted prior to July 1 for the fall semester.

Congratulations to Kerry Murphree, FNP, at Interfaith Clinic in El Dorado, Arkansas on being selected the 2021 Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association Outstanding Nurse Practitioner.

SHARE Foundation Announces 2021 Grants to Union County Nonprofits

Two local AmeriCorps VISTAs, MaKenna Thomas and Chelsea Fagan, recently graduated from South Arkansas University with Bachelors of Arts in Public Health.  Both Thomas and Fagan volunteer full-time as AmeriCorps VISTAS at SHARE Foundation.
