Quality Coordinator

job with Life Touch Hospice

Status: Full Time Hourly

Position Summary:

  • Oversee and monitor the quality program to ensure compliance with acceptable standards of practice & applicable state and federal laws and regulations. 
  • Coordinate the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Program. 
  • Maintain an on-going comprehensive assessment of the quality of care and services provided by the hospice program. 
  • Serve as the focal point of responsibility for all aspects of compliance.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  •  Hospice experience preferred.
  • LPN or RN preferred.
  • Experience in utilization review, quality assurance, performance improvement, and participation in regulatory surveys is preferred. 
  • Experience as a teacher or instructional coordinator is beneficial. 
  • Employee should possess the ability to educate staff utilizing personal knowledge/skills and a variety of resources. 
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated active listening proficiency.
  •   Possess the ability to work self-directed and possess computer proficiency.
